Divers seat was working fine then intermittently then stopped working completely. Need some help with wiring diagrams and where to test for voltage and grounds. Passenger side works fine.

Just to clarify the seat will not move, the lumbar doesn’t work, and the heated set will not work.

This could be a number of things but the primary concern would be a seat switch.

Here is a guide that will help with replacing it if this proves out:

The first thing we need to do is check power from the switch as it is unlikely that the various motors failed at the same time.

Please run through this testing and let us know what you find or what questions you have. Thanks

So tested the switches and there was power at all the switches. Started checking for grounds and all the switches worked when I applied ground at the main connector under the seat. Do you know where the drivers side seat grounds to the frame? Or should I tap into that wire and run my own ground to the chassis somewhere?

I attached the location of the G304 ground but you are fine either way. Ground is ground so you can use any ground that you want as long as it works and does not get pinched when the seat moves.

Please let us know if you have other questions. Great find. Thanks for returning to update us. Thanks
