Driver door controls work only intermittently

The driver side door controls do not work. If I jiggle the wires in the pass through, it occasionally will work, but will then go dead again. None of the drivers side controls - window, door lock, mirror - work. I checked the fuse and it is fine. All other electrical parts work well, and the door lock on the drivers door works fine with the fob. Do I need to replace the drivers side door module, replace the wiring harness, both, or try something else?

If you are talking about the wires going through the door then they break due to opening and closing of door so that may be your problem but I have seen the driver door module go out as well. To be sure lets run this test on the wiring.

Here is the door lock and window wiring and the module location so you can change it out.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers

I had this problem as well. I had to take it to the dealer they charged me $430.00 to change out the door module. I wish I came across this site earlier.
