On my 04 dodge ram I installed rear and front pads, since I did that I get a weird sound when I take off from a stop sign. Mostly when going up a hill.I think it might be a rubing or vibrateing sound kinda loud. It didnt do this till I put on the pads. Please help.

Hi there,

Re check that the pads are fitted correctly and fully seated, make sure that all anti rattle clips are installed, what type of pad did you use, conventional or ceramic or organic?

Ceramic pads, I took them apart twice everything looks fine. Could the rattle clips be stoping the pads from getting off the rotors.

Hi there,

I feel that this will be the pads, I have never had much luck with ceramic's they can be very noisy till they bed in, also getting the rotors machined will also help.
