Brake light on dash not going off
I have a 1995 Dodge Stratus, 142,000 miles. th brake light on the dash will not go off. the hand brake works fine and releases fine and I have checked all the brake lights and they are functioning. I replaced the brakes 6 months ago but they are also fine. I checked all the fuses but do not find one for the brake light on the dash.
Is there a fuse for this or do you have any ideas on why it is on and how I can fix it?
I am sure it will not pass saftey with it being on so if you could please help I would be most grateful.

try checking the bake fluid reservoir to see that the level is correct. The master cylinder has a float in it (like a gas gauge) to give you a warning that the fluid is low. ( the brake light) If it is low top off inspected the entire brake system for a leak.
