2008 Dodge ram 5.7 liter will not start. Must pull shift lever oout of park and back up at which point it may or may not start. Does not start in neutral. Also the low pressure tire indicator and the security activate lights are flashing constantly.

If the security light is flashing, it has the truck locked down. Try a different key. If that doesn't work, I hate to say it but it has to go to a dealer. They are the only ones with the proper test equipment to diagnose the problem.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks for replying. Turns out that after I crawled under the dash looking for anything out of place and discovered that the anti-theft plug under the steering column had somehow been bumped not allowing it to seat properly in it's harness. Pulled it out, reinserted it and have had no trouble since.

You're lucky. Usually it ends up being a sensor, wiring problem, short... Good job fixing it.

Let us know if you have questions in the future, and thank you for using 2carpros.com.
