After spark plugs, wires, water pump and battery being replaced, why when I shift my pick up into drive or reverse does the truck lock up and stall? If the truck is in park or nuetral it runs great with no additional noise. Right now the truck is not able to be driven.

Ok what I would do is check the Torque Converter Clutch for proper operation. This is electronicly controled and you will need a digital multi meter to check the lock up for the converter. If the converter is locking up then it will load the engine and it will die as soon as you put in gear. Let me know if you have a meter and are up to doing some testing.
