1999 Dodge Ram I lose 1 qt. Of oil every 400 miles HELP!

For every 400 miles I drive I go thru 1 qt. Of oil I changed the oil to full synthitic per what the mechanic told me to try and yah no results its been 5 months now and this is getting frustrating please help I have a v8 5.2 dodge ram 1500 pickup I have changed my spark plugs and cylinder 8 keeps getting clogged ! Thanks for your help ahead of time

Sounds like it could be the intake pan gasket. There is a TSB out for it. It causes high oil consumption and carbon build up as a result.

Technical Service Bulletin. There are a few places you can get it. Your local library likely has access to the EBSCO online research system. They have the TSB on there. Visit the dealer and ask for a copy. Or drop me a note at csr684 AT yahoo DOT com and I can send you a copy.
