Hey there,

Do you have any instructions on how to remove and replace the spark plugs on a 2003 Dodge RAM w/4.7?

I've looked for the common spark plug wire and I really don't see any. I've asked a few friends to look and see it they can see where the spark plugs are but thay can't either.

I've never paid for having spark plugs changed in any previous vehicle that I've owned. I like to change the plugs and minor items like this myself, mainly because I normally expect higher quality of customer service and workmanship than most repair shops do plus I rather do it myself.

It would be great if there were pictures and any other good tip that you could offer.

Thanks again and I hope that someone can help me.

Sorry I have no picture but you have the coil on plug system, unplug the coil twist and pull, the coil and boot will come off, the plug is inside! Repeat this 7 more times and your done! The coils are on the top of the heads, in the valve cover.

Thanks so much for your fast reply!

I can't identify the "coil on plug system" you make reference to.

Is there something that I should remove in order to see this?

Can you recommend (website or manual) where could I find a picture of what you are talking about?

I appreciate your advice and quick response.

Thanks again!
