1998 Dodge Ram truck will not start?

I tried charching the battery that didnt work. When I turned the key the panel lights come on but the engine does not want to start.

Does the engine crank just not turn over, sit there and click, or make no noise at all, post back@!

Next I would like you to put some starting fluid directly into the throttle body while cranking it, post back if it fires right up.
