1997 Dodge Ram runs out of fuel

Hi,
thank you for letting join, I am retired and have a very small budget. Please let me tell you the problem.I replaced the drop in fuel pump and changed the fuel lines. The truck starts O K but shifts to soon and under a load in runs out of fuel. It will start again but it does the same thing.I have run the truck on idle and does not have that problem.
Can you help?

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure tester designed for your fuel system if its within specs if okay-test the throttle position sensor and the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
