My sons car was slipping. He added transmission fluid and back up. It was leaking onto the ground. Transmission fluid was coming out of the overflow and seems to be mixed into the radiator fluid.

Hello,

Is it coming out the overflow on the tranny? If so did he check the tranny fluid prior to adding more? If not then the tranny most llikely was full or over full to begin with and adding more caused it to come out the tranny overflow.

Now with the tranny fluid mixed in with the coolant most likely the tranny cooler in the radiator has failed causing the mixing of fluids and you will need to have the radiator replaced and coolant system flushed.
