There is trans fluid in the radiator and vise verses. I started to change the fluid and notice this problem and now my question is do I have to drain the torque converter and if so is there away to it with out taking out the trans how dose the radiator fluid get into the trans. The radiator probably needs to change to?

Hello wrw1@charter.net

Yes you need to change the radiator, flush the transmission and coolant.
You may have leak in the radiator.
Transmission cooler lines are connected to the radiator.
A leak within the radiator may have caused both fluids to mix
dropping the transmission oil pan will drain all fluid both in the converter and transmission.Don't forget to replace the filter.
