Hello.I have a 99 intrepid with the 2.7 in it. I have been having problems with the car kerking and pulling forward while driving the car on the highway above 50 mph. When it starts acting up the engine light comes on. After driving for awhile the light eventually goes out until the next time this happens. I have scanned the computer for the codes and found the cam shaft position sensor was out.I replaced it but the problem is still there. The check engine light doesnt stay on long enough to scan it while its on. I have also had the transmission rebuilt 6 months ago after being told this was the problem. Do I need another tranny $$$$ or is there something else that could be causing this problem.

I sounds like your still having a trans problem. Those cars were the worse for it. If the shop you had the trans rebuilt didn't give you a one year 12,000 warrenty, take it to another shop and get it checked maybe two or three shops. If there still is a problem take your quotes to the first shop and if they don't fix it take them to small claims court.

They did give me a 12000 mile warranty. However the bad part about it I am 700 miles over the warranty. If its the transmission agian I might just cut my loses and by something different then dodge. Too bad too I happen to have a thing for dodges too
