I have a 1996 dodge intrepid that wont start after replacing the water pump. I checked to see if there was current going to the spark plugs and there was none, what can I check for to make it work.

Yea the car did work before the water pump replacement but even before the pump replacemen sometimes the car wouldnt start due to no current going to the spark plugs I would have to wait like 2 hours so the car would work and yea the timing is good what else could b the problem.
