i have a 1990 dodge dakota with a 2.7 L . i just change fuel filter cleaned out all the fuel lines and changed the fuelpump. everything was fine and i took the truck for a ride and when i made a rightturn, not very hard, she shutdown. waited a few minutes and she started again. got it home and have been pulling out my hair since. anyone got ideas or things to check? also anyone have a picture or drawing of the fuelpump installation and connections so i can check if i'm correct?

yes, your pump is in tank left side i believe, now when you turn right the gas SWISHES and goes away therefore no gas to pump. drop tank examine

thanks bubba spent sometime today trouble shooting. i was concentrating on the fuel system since that was the last thing worked on, change filter , fuelpump, and throttle body injector. turns out to be and i'm hoping this is finally it. the connector from the wiring harness to the distributor was loose and i think that the bodyroll on right turn cause it to seperate just enough to cause the shut down. i pushed it together and tywraped it tight. so far so good. sometimes its not always what you just messed with.
