I week later car readyon thurs pm. Fri am 7:30 dont come get car is tore up needs another motor. Our tech drove my car home overnight and now they say there is sugar in my gas. Now to my question Can a tech. Legally take my car home overnight. All this sounds fishy to me and many others. Now they want my insurance to pay for 2 motors' any advice

Usually they ask for your permission to drive your car for any further than a few miles on a test drive. How come it took them 2 motors to figure out the problem? Remeber they told you it was fine and let you drive it. It's on them.

Thanks for the info. But how do I get them to pay they have had the car since aug. 15, and do I have them legally for letting tech take car home. Your guess on time and 2 motors is beyond me. Thats our issue, 1st tripp in they said it was fine. Now they dont want to honor warrenty and said if we got a rental car we would have to pay for that. Thankfully we did not get one

Threaten to go to the local courthouse and file a claim, no Judge will say it was your fault they screwed up on the diagnosis! THEY let you drive it home, ruin an engine and now want you to pay? Can you say court action? Even a lawyer wont cost as much as the repair bills.
