2003 grand caravan, 115K miles, 33.3-Liter V6 OHV Engine

Been to 3 dealers and 2 independents, no one can fix the problem

Intermittently in the AM the car will not go into gear, I wait a couple of minutes and then it will go into gear.

Then for the next couple of days every time I am decelerating you can feel the transmission downshift, the car jolts like I was hit from behind.

After a couple of days the car acts normally.

The transmission computer was replaced but that did not help
Thanks

Did anybody bothers to check the throttle position and vehicle speed sensors-these sensors inputs tell the computer as indications of throttle and governor pressures and in turn the computer commands shifting solenoids to shift/lock/down etc.

Its like the transmission range sensor-if the computer don't recieve the positon of the gear-how will it know to operate the transmission properly

The computer is program when it sees something is has to make something happen, that's how the computer works in an electronic controlled transmission.
