Just had my battery replaced. When I picked up the vehicle, the speedometer needle was on the wrong side of the support pin. It now hangs near the 6 o-clock position ans rises to the underside of the support pin when running. How did this happen and how do I fix it?

I hate to make accusations but whoever put it in COULD have shorted something in the process. I would check the body control module too for burnt wires. I mean it was working correctly before you brought it there right.

The instrument cluster doesn't like when the battery loses power or power isn't maintained while the battery is being changed. Codes can be pulled from the cluster.

Caravan cluster self test
Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Press and hold trip odometer reset button. While holding button, turn ignition switch to ON position. Continue to hold button about 5 seconds until the odometer VF window displays SOF and a number that shows software version. If any problems exist they will show you the code. It should continue to go through its self test and should reset the cluster.
