2000 Dodge Caravan transmission leak

My transmission is leaking. A mechanic said it is leaking from the front near the control box. It is not a bad leak, and I have noticed no problem from it. Is this serious.

did he tell you where the leakis coming from? Is the pan leaking?

He said it was leaking under the hood behind the radiator where the control box is.

That is really vague for me to pinpoint. What I suggest is to try to clean everything off (car wash) and see if that helps identify the problem. Most likely it's the trans pan, but I can't be sure without more info.
