2000 Dodge Caravan bleeding brakes hasnt worked

I am having a problem with the brakes on my Dodge Grand Caravan Sport (2000). We have bled the front and back brakes twice, second time believing we had not gotten all the air out of the lines. Apparently that isnt the problem, seeming after a few days, we havent hardly any brakes! If you pump them before you want to stop, obviously they harden up again, but quickly lose it and become "squishy" again! Is it possibly the master cylinder, and how would I check to see if it is?

Hi:
When you blead your brakes, always start at the furthers wheel from the master cylender. Then, work your way closer and closer until you get to the left front wheel.

As far as being able to pump the brakes up, it sounds like the rear brakes are out of adjustment. Have you checked them?

Next, you had a concern about air in the lines. Have you reciently replaced something?

FInally, Is the master cylender loosing fluid? If you hold steady pressure in the brake pedal, does the pedal slowly go to the floor?
