While driving this Monday AM, car just died. Checked and replaced coil, cam and crank sensors, ignition switch. Put NOID lights in injectors wiring harness, I have continuity on sensors but no power when energized. Do you think that the PCM is at fault?

Het there Docfixit
No, NOID light did not flash, there was fuel pressure in fuel rail, I checked for spark ( first thing I did) there was none, there was no power to the primary side, good compression, fresh battery, etc. The reason I changed out the ignition switch is because one time that I tried to crank it, the starter stayed engaged. Even when I took the key out. Thought the switch fried. Since, I have checked sensor harness for continuity and all is well.

Jim

Doc, I have alredy tried that. Haven't found any broken/chafed wires at all. Van is one owner and never been wrecked, always well maintained. This is first time anything has gone wrong. I always repair and maintain it myself

Doc, I was retracing my steps while waiting for your responses and found out that in a continuity check that the ground and the power line for the crank and camshaft sensers had a short. Am trouble shooting it now. Will get back to you soon.

- thank you so far for everything.
Jim.

Good morning Doc, I found that the crank sensor wires were bound to the frame with a wire tie too tightly, creating a short in that particular system.I found it out while rechecking the continuity by accidently hitting the ground pin in the PCM instead of the power pin. The van started right up upon reinsulating the wires and putting everything back in it's place. Thank you and your team for ALL your assistance, you guys are aces ! Can't thank you enough !
