3.0L Grand Caravan SE with LPG conversion

When key is turned then ignition comes on but does not turn over. It is almost like it is in Drive or Reverse trying to start.

This occured occaionally before but went away after opening and closing doors via 3rd party alarm system/remote central locking.
Therefore I had the alarm totally removed but no change in behaviour - i.e will not start. Yellow starter lead shows 12v when key turned.

The garage cannot find problem. Engine check light has been on with code P0403 since valve seats replaced for loss compression in 1 cylinder.

Other (related?) issues is that a/c and rear heater lights flash for 20 minutes then turn off. a/c and rear heater works OK even when flashing.

Garage usless here as I am in UK and they sell Chrysler not Dodge and not 3.0L engine.

Looks like there is a 3amp crank fuse in slot 10 of the fuse block, check that first. Then underhood check fuse 23.If that isnt it then go to starter motor relay.Should have 12 volts at slot 30 with key on, and at slot 86 when cranking.Slot 85 should be a ground when cranking.87 is the signal out to crank the starter

Thank you for your information.

The mechanic at the garage has directly connected to the starter motor and directly connected the fuel pump and stilll it will not fire although turns over.

I'll pass on your advice and see how we get on.

checked the fuses as you suggest and all is OK.

Is there any test to see if ECM is faulty?

The LPG system has a loose wire which I attached. this then allowed the starter motor to turn but not fire.

Thanks so far.

What is the next step?
