Crankshaft position sensor:
Note: Engine design precisely locates Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor. No CKP sensor adjustment is necessary.

Removal and Installation:
Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Remove A/C compressor to gain access. Disconnect crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wire connector from engine harness. See figure 5 . Remove CKP sensor mounting screws. Remove CKP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See torque specifications.

What about the coil if it feels like it's missing? Seen a few issues with the coils breaking down. Also have the technician road test with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up, the pump may become weak and when accelerated you are feeling low fuel pressure

I forgot to mention, They also put in a new coil. They told me also that when the check engine light comes on, it gives him a code for the crank sensor. I will tell them about the fuel pressure, like you suggested. When its at an Idle it runs great.

Have they checked the catalytic converters> Also, you said they replaced the crank sensor and that is the code that is still coming up. Have them recheck the sensor to make sure it is good. If it is, have them check the wiring to the sensor as well as the plugs to it. Something could be breaking down in the wiring.
