Cranks but doesn't want to start

Okay so I have a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 four-wheel drive that I just bought about a month and a half ago. When I crank it every time for the first time of the day it cranks but does not want to start it will eventually start but it takes it a while it's like it's not getting any spark or any fuel? I don't know where to start cuz I don't want to dump a bunch of money into something that I just paid way too much for. Some advice would be helpful thanks.

Sure, when you turn the key on without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump come on in the fuel tank for about five seconds? There is an easy way to see if the problem is fuel related, get some starting fluid, and spray it into the intake throttle body if it runs you know its fuel related, also here is a video to help check for spark.

If you have no spark, I would replace the crankshaft angle sensor here is the location and how to do the job in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
