Have new battery and alternator, but have code p0660 for manifold tuning valve. Truck will run with full charge battery but very rough and shuts off quickly.

Well, according to Prodemand and AllData, P0660 is not a code that this vehicle has available to it. If it is set, then I would suspect an issue with the power-train control module (computer), or its connections. I would also check every fuse related to the PCM. If one is blown, then that could cause the computer to do some odd things. I am attaching Chrysler's information as provided to Prodemand regarding the under-hood fuse box. It is more confusing than necessary, but the basic information is there. You may also find usable information in the owner's manual. Also, here is our more general guide on checking fuses: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Just for clarity's sake, which Ram is this? 1500? 2500? Etc. A VIN number would really help to be honest.
