I just had my stage 4 clutch, flywheel and the throw out bearing replaced. When I got it back something wasn't right. Come to find out they didn't replace the pilot bearing. Had that replaced and the timing was off. I had my friend hook up my Honda and fix it and once again it wasn't right. Now the 2 week old clutch lets out all the way and when I need to shift gears and let off the gas and push the clutch in the rpm's go up and then it jerks when I switch gears because the rpm's are up. Do you know what causes this?

Good evening,

The release and engagement are dependent on the throw-out bearing.

Is there any free play in the clutch pedal?

I attached a picture of the rod for the clutch master. There is a nut on the rod to the adapter for the pedal. You can loosen the nut and turn the rod to change the release and engagement time of the clutch.

The clutch is only a month old and it would catch when you barely got it off the floor. Now it lets out all the way and when I start it I have to put force pushing it all the way to the floor to get it to start. I have replaced the throw out bearing twice with in a week. I do not know anything about cars. I bought it as is and everything under the hood is after market and it is tuned with the Hondata. When I let my friend set the timing is when it started to do it. Here is a picture of some of the stuff that is aftermarket.

I would have someone try the adjustment I suggested to see if it makes a difference.

The throwout bearing is not the issue at all.
