Clicks when trying to start

At first my van would not start unless jumped then would start few days later. Now it just clicks but nothing else. Lights come on but no start. Transmission problems as well. What can I check? Needs help bad only car got to get to work. Please help!

Check battery for condition including load test most places do for free. if battery is bad you may need a security system reset when new one goes in. See link.

I have also seen where the starter will go bad causing these problem, here is a guide that will help you test the starter to see if that is the problem.
