I have a Dodge Ram 1500, year '96 with 92000 miles.
it runs fine for hours if i speed up to 60 mph. however it overheats if it goes above 65mph. i see the temperature needle going all the way up unless i decrease the speed to 60mph. if it overheats the water/antefreeze in the carburator is broiling. the oil is not mixing with the water as i have checked for that. the problem occurs ONLY when it goies above 60mph.
your assistance is appreciated.
