The way to repair is with the manufacturer's service department. They have a manufacturer's diagnostic tool and it does a lot more than just read the codes. It reads inputs, outputs, and resets the computers that are involved. There are three modules from your description that could tell the story easier and with less expense and frustration that guessing will cost you.
