Transmission problem
2004 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 120, 00 miles

When slowing down and applying the brakes the car downshifts hard and will not up-shift until the car is cut off and restarted. Once restarted it will continue through the gears.
The trouble codes we got were the following:
1776, 1784, 1781, 1786, 0731, and 0700.

Where do we start?

Many thanks,
ED

It is best to check the transmission fluid for its proper level and condition. If the level is low, or the fluid is very dark, burnt, you will need a rebuild. I'm afraid all of those codes are for a slipping problem, it will need professional trans, repair. The Trans. Is electronically shifted so if the fluid is clean it could be a sensor or computer problem. Ok
