Chrysler Cirrus 98

I have a 98 Cirrus with 78,000 miles. I have started to notice intermitent hesitation while driving on the highway. At the point of hesitation, the Tach drops to 0 and the car starts to stall. Most times it regains power and continues but it has stalled out a few times. The car was recently tuned up but this issue persists and appears to be getting worse. Any ideas on the issue?

there are a lot of things it could be, is your check engine light on? have you had the codes read? I would look at the firing order, has this happened since you got the tune up or has it been happening for a while?
