 I have a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus 2.5 V6 with 147000 miles. I have been having trouble with it stalling out in the middle of the road while I am driving and my gas needle jumps up and down. This mostly happens When i am going up a hill or when the car temperature reaches the halfway point. It just dies without warning or it loses power when i step on the gas. When it dies everything else works. I have had the map sensor replaced, the air intake sensor replaced, a tune up, oil change and a new water pump installed and a new battery installed. Can you please tell me what could be my problem.

I have hade fuel injectors replaced, map sensor, tps sensor, alternator, electrical work, i've hade numerous tests from 4 different mechanic shops and a couple friends. Everything seems to be intact, but i have the same exact problems its irritating that nobody even 25+ years mechanics cant even figure it out. please let me know if you figure this out before i do thank you. I know i do have a vacuum leak somewhere maybe that will fix it not sure...it seems hopeless, but i love this car and dont have the money to buy a new car and to hardly fix this one.. It dies/stalls out randomly and sometimes you don't even feel it. I've hade ecm, computer, fuel pump, ignition module, and tons more stuff tested nothing is wrong with the parts...also some of the parts that i replaced hade nothing wrong with them in the first place. Kind of sucks. Look forward to hearing how your expedition with your car is going. My car just came out of the shop after being in there 2 months and still stalls and everything same exact symptoms. Grrrr...
