My car started an ran smooth for 15 to 20 seconds then shut down , it did this a few times now it wont crank over by the key you can jump starter relay terminal and it will turn over i tried a new rely but didn't help, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pull starter relay not the three spade connectors in a row the furthest from row of fuses is term A from ignition. Use test light turn key to start does it light?

O.K. go to last term in that row clip test light to BATT pos probe that term try and start does it light up?

if i'm following correctly the terminal of the starter relay only lights showing key function when the test light is grounded

Yes first test verfied that so next test will tell if PCM is providing ground to close relay and operate starter

i now understand what your doing an no i'm not getting a ground from pcm does that mean the computer is the problem

That's what I thought was happening PCM left rear engine compartment with OHM meter check from relay C to PCM connector # 31 tan/white wire if good then PCM. before that check fuse #13 at left side dash. Jumper between the two terminals above the three this will op. starter key on see if it lights

I replaced pcm with used unit car starts again but shuts down after a few seconds don't want to fry another pcm any thoughts?

Maybe ASD relay when it dies does it start back up ? if not determine if spark or fuel is problem

First of all thank you very much i cant tell you how much it help talking over this problem with you guys . I was amazed an relieved to find my problem was a remote starter control it wasn't read the chip in the key , i removed entire assy. took oem key out of controller an car starts &runs sweat .thanks again.

Great news was remote OEM or aftermarket? Want to remember this if it comes up down the road.
