My truck has 185,000 miles (5.7 L V8 ) on it now and it has been ideling rough when in gear for some time now, but it's started sputtering at speeds less than 40 MPH, it's the worst at less than 30 MPH. Also, I have noticed on the highway it is missing a little bit at speeds around 70 MPH. I have recently changed the distributor, rotor and wires, but havent had a chance to replace the plugs yet. I also have with in the last 2 years replaced the fuel pump with regulator and a fuel filter.

Any ideas?

Do the plugs. While they are out, do a compression test to be sure you arent trying to tune out a low compression issue. Be sure to use quality parts when you tune it up. NO Bosch Platinum (A/C Delco or Autolite) plugs
