1998 Chevrolet S-10 110,000 4.3. It first happened last year where the car wouldn't turn over at all and no power was going anywhere. I waited 5 minutes and then it started. Next I changed the battery about 5-6 months later because it was dead. Last week I was driving and the car just shutdown with no power anywhere. I turned the key back and started it again and it started up no problem. Now today I went outside, tried to start it and it got power for .5 of a second but never turned over. Now there is no power at all and no turnover whatsoever. any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

GM had big time problem with battery acid leeching through the cables.Be sure they are clean and tight, might even need to be replaced depending on their condition. When truck wont start you need to check for main power in at the under hood fuse and relay box.

Good evening,

I would start by cleaning the battery cables. If there is corrosion at the battery then it will give you these symptoms.
