When I hook up my m.A.P sensor my truck idles hig then low then stalls. It runs fine when m.A.P sensor is disconnected. What could the problem be?

You may have a bad map sensor. Also you should hook it up while the car is off then turn the car on and it should stall if its ok. High idols usually mean cracked or disconected vacuum hoses
