1987 Chevrolet Truck Repair Question

1987 chevy cavalier
As stated 1987 chevy cavalier 2.ol 250,000 miles.The engine will run for a mile or two then stop,if i let set for 15 or 20 minunts it will restart then do the same thing.I change both coils (ign) change the fuel pump,it ran good for about one hour then stoped.Can you help me it's the only car my son has for school.Thanks,GOD BLESS.billiotv@bellsouth.net

When it stalls this is the best time to look for fuel and spark
Use a ST-125 spark tester and a fuel pressure gauge
Wild guess-try the crankshaft/camshaft position sensor or ignition control module
