Hi Tlucas, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

That pressure is way too low-check if the fuel filter is clogged if not check injector and fuel pressure regulator if its leaking if all okay-also check the fuel pump check valve could be leaking too-all checks out-replace the fuel pump

Hook up the fuel pressure tester back and pinch the return line did the pressure increase? If so replace the regulator

What is the liter engine? 5.0 or 5.7 type of injection system

Hook the fuel pressure tester back on, turn key On-record pressure readings and monitor how long it takes to drop to zero-if its more than 5mins there's nothing wrong with the check valve/injectors/regulator-replace the fuel filter and fuel pump

It takes about 30 min to drop from 52 to 40 and that's as far as it drops! So replace fuel pump even if it doesn't go to 0?

Did you check the fuel filter if it's clogged up-if ok, replace the fuel pump.
