2002 Chevy Tahoe engine hesitates and stalls

1rst time (summer 07 )after driving for several hrs non-stop, went to pass and car severally hesitated. 2nd time ( feb 08 ), went to start the car in the morning, would not start. Had car towed to dealer, couldnt find any problem. 3rd time (march 09) after driving 2hrs at highway speeds (70mph), car started to hesitate, then stalled I put the car into neutral, try to restart, by the 3rd or 4th time it restarted. On fri 8/7/09 after driving 5hrs at 70 mph, went to accelerate car hesitated & stalled, restarted. This continued 4 more times for the remaining 3hr trip. Each time I was able to put the car into neutral and it restarted after several tries.I noticed that the cruisecontrol that I used, now wouldnt work, stopped for dinner 1hr. Remaining half hour no problem & cruisecntrl worked !
