Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 130k miles

I have a 99 V8 Vortec, 130 K miles. I just recently had the fuel pump replaced. I am having a problem getting the engine started/turning over. In the morning the engine starts up immediately. But, throughout the day, I have to keep the ignition turned and the engine takes quite a while to turnover. Is due to the spark plugs needing to be replaced, or could the fuel pump have something to do with it?

Could still be related to the fuel pump. These pumps are horrible, bring it back to the mechanic and he can do a amp draw test on the pump to make sure its pulling atleast 10 amps, this will indicate a good fuel pump. There are many problems with the wiring connector going to the pumps, heating up and corroding. Hope this helps
