Engine revs a little periodically while driving and acts like it wants to stall while going in reverse once in awhile. Engine seems sluggish as well. Could it be the spark plugs, fuel injectors or both. Engine has 86000 miles on it. The spark plugs in it are the originals.

A tune up is not a bad idea at this point. It will help many different things. Also, make sure to replace the fuel filter. Finally, has the check engine light ever come on?
