1998 Chevy S-10 fuel pump test wire

1998 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 140000 miles

Flow charts for fuel pump problems state there is a red test wire on the l/s fender area. its a jumper to hot wire fuel pump to test if its working. I cant locate it . Flow charts say its near fuse block red wire. No sign of it .

Welcome to the forum, half the time, I can't find them either. My wiring info didn't show a test connector. You see point A and B in the diagram, if you use a jumper wire between those terminals, the pump should run. Point A should be hot all the time, when the relay is energized, the arm swings to point B and that point carries voltage to the pump.
