1995 Chevy S-10 compressor not kicking in

The unit is full of freon, but the compressor is not kicking in. Is it a modual that controls the power to the compressor.

The module controls power to the compressor as well as a switch on the evaporator and a breaker on teh back of the compressor. Alto fo times the switch is bad on the evaporator, best way to check is to jump the switch and see if compressor starts.
