Engine Performance problem
1993 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

4.3 vortex Idles rich, and rough. Plug wires, plugs, cap and rotor has been changed. Has good takeoff. Have to start it like its flooded. Low vacuum, no leaks found external.
Still gets 17.5MPG on hwy.

Excess Fuel:
Replace your fuel relay switch, on the firewall under the hood.

Poor vacuum pressure:
Replace MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor. On a bracket to the left of the TBI.
Check for missing, cracked or loose vacuum lines on the TBI

"Manuel/Flood" start:
Check the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), on the left side of the TBI. After you remove the air cleaner, look for a metal tang. Carefully, with a thin flathead screwdriver, try to move the tang towards the firewall, if it takes a lot pressure, the TPS needs replaced.
