1985 Chevy S-10 gauges

My speedometer and gas gauges are not working, checked all of the fuses and they appear to be fine, what else could cause them to not work?

If ou have a cable the cable could have broke for the speedo or the speed senor is no good. The fuel guage you'll have to check at the tank and if you ground out the wire and the guage goes up your sending unit is no good and will have to be replaced.
