Awhile back my car was stalling for no reason constantly. After much trial and error I finally unplugged the MAF sensor. It never stalled again. No clue why just started running perfect afterwards. However of course now the check engine light is on and I believe I could be getting better performance if I had the sensor in. So my question is should I buy a new stock MAF sensor and replace it and hopefully it doesnt stall, or should I replace it with those performances MAFs since I would like to get better performance? Also are those aftermarket sensors direct bolt on including the plug?

Finding the problem was the task
replacing the sensor should be an easy job
personal opinion on high performance MAF sensor is a waist of money
an after market should do the job just fine
good luck
