Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Chevy Malibu 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I put a tester on my 1999 malibu and it said that an injector circuit was staying open. I traced it down to the first injector towards the drivers side.
Does this mean that I need to replace the computer module in the vehicle? Or is there something else that I should look for?

A P0201 indicates problem in wiring from PCM to injector or the PCM itself. Problem is you need a scan tool to repair. And of course training. So it looks like a trip to shop is in your future.
