1998 MALIBU LS, V6, 69,000 ORIG MILES. I really need some help on this one guys. When I start this car and drive it normally it misses like it has a plug wire off. I inadvertantly found out that if I start it and then shut it off and start it again, it will run perfect. Happens anytime I try it. Start it once, it misses like crazy. Shut it off and start it twice and it runs like a champ at any speed. Please help me out with this one. No one seems to have an answer.

Thanks much,
Mike

Tried replacing the cam sensor, didnt fix it. Drove it to work and went to leave and start this car and it cranked over and over without starting and then stopped cranking. Battery is up and it sounds like something is locked up in the motor, it will not turn over. Could this be the timing chain?
