When I started the car, the engine was idling to fast. I stepped on the gas peddle thinking that maybe it was stuck but it kept idling high. I remember the olden days when you could just adjust a screw near the carburator but with these fuel injected engines i'm not so sure. This is my first time here at this website so i'm hoping you could help me. Do I need to take it in somewhere?

No, as you suspected, idle speed with fuel injection isn't as simple as turning a screw. There's an idle air valve that bypasses the throttle that can get stuck or malfunction, but erroneous sensor readings through the computer can do the trick, as can a vacuum leak.
