My car is usually a good running car and it has yet to fail me. However, the past few days my battery voltage light has been coming on. Sometimes it goes off right away, sometimes it flickers. When driving, at night with my lights on, I can hear and feel like it wants to die but if I rev to high rpm it runs fine and my lights get brighter. I don't know much about cars and don't wanna fix something just to have it be the wrong thing. It starts perfectly, warm or cold weather. So I'm baffelled. Is it my battery, my altanator, or my starter? Also with this kinda car, could it be electrical? Thank you so very much, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi there,

With the flickering of the charge light and the variable brightness of the lights, I would suspect a faulty alternator / Voltage regulator. Have it checked out for charge rate, this will give an indication as to its viability.
